Jesus, before his betrayal and arrest, knowing what lay ahead of him,
gave of his precious time, to pray for us.
John 17: 20-23
I do not pray for these alone,
but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one as You, Father are in Me, and I in
You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent me.
And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as
We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have
sent me, and have loved them as You have loved Me
When
Jesus was facing the biggest challenge of his life, he showed compassion for others. During this time he had only moments
before he would be at the mercy of trained killers, inspired by the worst hatred Satan could devise. And Jesus didn't
run, he didn't try to blend in with the crowd, he didn't seek the comforts of this world. Instead he asked that
those who believed in him, would experience the unity with each other and with God, that he was experiencing.
What greater calling do we have than to pray and lift each other up?
What greater gift do we have to offer than our time in prayer for those in need?
We are the body of Christ, we are commanded to love one another. God wouldn't
command us to do something that we are unable to do. If we choose to love one another, and act on that love, then Jehovah
will pour out blessings of love in our lives.
Luke 6:38
38 give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure,
pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be measured
to you again.

So many times we think that giving money is the best or only way to give, and then we get caught in the trap of giving
in order to receive. God says he blesses the cheerful givers. What more precious gift is there in all the world
beyond a gift of love. Imagine how much greater the return on our gifts of love!
I believe that we are called to lift each other up in prayer and to agree together that God will answer our
prayers. We have spent too much of our Christian walk worrying about doctrine and denomination, it is time to stop arguing
over words and to start walking in faith. I have seen first hand the miraculous power that is possible through prayer,
and I hope to provide a service where everyone who has faith, and believes in the miracle working power of Jesus, can come
and minister to those in need, and to bring their own needs before the body of Christ.
Pray with me that God will give me
the wisdom to execute this work to His glory.
